Which quick release should I choose?
CDR is Conspit's newer auto-locking system. CDP is the three-bolt 50 mm PCD pogo-pin block. Motor, encoder and torque are identical, so pick the one that matches the wheels you already own. Ask us if you are not sure.
How much torque does it make?
12 Nm holding torque from a skew-pole direct-drive motor with a 23-bit optical encoder.
Why an optical encoder?
Conspit's optical encoder gives higher accuracy, smoother feedback, and greater long-term reliability than a magnetic encoder of the same resolution.
Is 12 Nm enough?
For almost everyone, yes. Most drivers run their 20 Nm bases well below full output. Twelve newton meters gives you real detail without needing a heavy rig to hold it down.
