Description of the CONSPIT 300 GT Sim Racing Wheel

CONSPIT 300 GT Sim Racing Wheel

The 300 GT is a 300mm round GT-style sim racing wheel built around a carbon fiber front plate and a CNC-machined aluminum body. Total weight is 1150g without a quick release, which keeps rotational inertia low on direct drive bases.

Construction

The front plate is compression-molded from 12 layers of T-300 carbon fiber prepreg and weighs 43 grams. The main body is a single piece of aluminum alloy, CNC-machined after casting, at 222 grams. The grips use an aluminum internal frame wrapped in TPU, which holds up better against wear and skin oils than the TPE rubber used on most wheels in this price range. The grip shape works with either a two-finger or three-finger hold below the spokes.

Controls

The faceplate carries 8 RGB backlit push buttons (500g actuation force, silicone-damped), 2 thumb encoders, 3 twelve-position rotary knobs, 2 vertical encoder dials, and 2 seven-way joysticks. Two shortcut buttons sit on the rear housing within reach of your fingers while gripping the wheel.

The rotary knobs run in either incremental (+/-) or absolute position mode, set in Conspit Link 2.0. The two vertical encoders can be remapped on the fly: turning the center knob to a different position changes what the encoders control, so one pair of dials can cover TC1/TC2 in one position and brake bias/ABS in another. In total the wheel supports up to 110 independent button outputs.

Display and lighting

A built-in 2.99-inch color display (800×268) shows 7 telemetry dash pages, with Conspit adding more via software updates. The screen also shows the current encoder remap assignments in real time, so you can confirm what the dials are set to without guessing. Lighting is 56 LEDs total — 8 button lights, 12 RPM lights, and 36 knob position indicators — all configurable through SimHub.

Paddles

Shift paddles are magnetic Hall-sensor units with three swappable pressure settings (550, 660, or 900gf). The dual-clutch paddles are also Hall-sensored, with bite point and independent-axis modes configurable in Conspit Link 2.0.

Compatibility

The wheel connects over USB with a detachable coiled cable and mounts via a standard 70mm PCD adapter, so it works with wheel-side quick releases from Simucube, Fanatec, Simagic, Asetek, VRS, MOZA, and other bases using the 70mm pattern (wheel-side QR sold separately). If you run a Conspit ARES base, the optional CDP quick release connects directly. PC only. RGB and telemetry run through SimHub; wheel configuration runs through Conspit Link 2.0.
