Why load cell
Trail braking is a pressure problem
Most pedals measure how far you push. A load cell measures how hard. That distinction is the whole game at the limit — with a potentiometer pedal your reference point drifts as springs soften and travel changes, and your muscle memory drifts with it.
The DirectForce Pro brake reads pressure at up to 140 kg (308 lb) at the pedal face, through a bell-crank mechanism that builds resistance progressively — the way a real brake loads up under your foot. The same force gives you the same result on lap one and lap fifty. That is what makes a braking point repeatable instead of approximate.
Precise
Load cell brake with a progressive bell-crank response. Hit the same pressure, get the same braking point, every single lap.
Smooth
A frictionless throttle with configurable force up to 8.4 kg. Nothing to stick, nothing to drag, nothing between your foot and the car.
Durable
Stainless steel body with a bead-blasted finish and steel coil springs that don't soften over time. Built to be kept, not replaced.
Adjustability
Fits your feet, not the other way round
Every axis adjusts, so you set it up once around your seating position and stop thinking about it.
- Throttle travel adjustable from 21.5 mm to 58.1 mm
- Brake spring options: red for 46.1 mm travel, blue for 49.6 mm
- Clutch throw from 12.4° to 25.4°
- Swap springs to change resistance without changing pedals
- Add the clutch pedal later — the two-pedal set expands

Tuning
Dial it in from the desktop
The VRS DirectForce Config Tool handles calibration and fine-tuning, and lets you save and load profiles — so a setup that works for GT3 is one click away from the one that works for formula.
Spring sets for throttle, brake and clutch are stocked separately, so you can change the character of a pedal for the price of a spring rather than the price of a pedal.

Questions
Before you buy
What does a load cell actually change?
A load cell reads how hard you press rather than how far you push, so you brake by pressure — the same way you do in a real car. Your reference is a force, not a distance, which means it stays consistent as the hardware ages and doesn't shift when you change your seating position.
Two pedals or three?
If you race GT3, formula, or anything with paddle shift and auto-clutch, two pedals covers you. The clutch matters for manual standing starts, historics, road cars, and rally. You can start with the two-pedal set and add the clutch pedal later for $249 — nothing is wasted either way.
Will these work with my wheel base?
The pedals connect to your PC independently of the wheel base, so they work alongside any brand — VRS, Fanatec, Simagic, Asetek, Moza or anything else. You don't need a VRS base to run VRS pedals.
How adjustable is the brake feel?
Two ways. The spring options change travel and throw — red gives 46.1 mm, blue gives 49.6 mm — and the Config Tool lets you set where in that range your full-brake input registers. Replacement and alternative springs are stocked separately if you want to go further.
How fast do they ship?
Orders ship direct from VRS in California. Because the stock is already in the US there are no import tariffs and no international customs delay, and shipping is free on orders over $150.
